Privately-held and centrally based in Wenona, IL, Oak State is known for taking an innovative approach to contract baking while consistently producing quality baked goods for our customers.
Growing from 50 employees to 300, Oak State transitioned from producing Archway cookies to now running around-the-clock production capable of meeting the needs our customers require. Our Management team has a strong commitment to making Oak State the preferred contract bakery for large food companies. By offering full research and development support, the Oak State team works seamlessly with our customers to develop baked goods that are competitive and highly marketable. Oak State’s modern bakery encompasses 200,000 square ft. of state-of-the-art equipment. Clean and well-maintained, our bakery has the capability of producing up to 80,000,000 lbs annually and the flexibility to add new lines of productions quickly. Oak State’s cookie enrobing line is one of the largest in the United States. We also have a wide-range of packaging options from individually wrapped to bulk packaging giving our customers flexibility and choice for marketing their baked goods.
