Our approach to innovation is multi-faceted:

  • Our R & D team keeps-up-to date on the latest trends, newest ingredients and emerging technologies in our industry.
  • Prototypes of customer concepts are developed to provide our customers a visual, textural and flavor sample. Our fully-equipped R & D lab produces prototypes that closely resemble production oven baking. We have the capacity to develop cookies, bars or inclusions within the lab and present various packaging options. With Oak State’s extensive prototyping, our customers are well-informed to meet their market demands.
  • We ensure all customized recipes and formulas work in mass production by conducting commercialization test runs.
  • Our R & D team, supported by a seamless supply chain, works closely with Production, Engineering, and Quality teams to create a product action plan that follows the product from lab to production to grocery shelf.
